Gooser's Bar and Eating House is just across the road from the river and close to the bridge that links Tipperary and Clare, this attractive almost-riverside pub serves a wide ranges of dishes with specials on a blackboard (soups with freshly baked brown bread, oysters, mussels, Irish stew and bacon and cabbage are typical).

Barfood served daily, 12.30pm-10.pm. Restaurant: 6.30-10pm daily and Sun 12.30-9pm all year.
